STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Bible

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings. It is the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men and women, and the final authority for all Christian faith and life. (2 Timothy 3.16-17, 2 Peter 1.19-21, Matthew 5.17-18, John 10.34-36)

The Gospel

The Gospel is central to the Church. Jesus, the eternal Son of God, came in the flesh, lived sinlessly, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. Rom. 5; Col. 1:18–23; 1 Cor. 15:3–8

The Trinity

We affirm one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally united in essence. Luke 3:21–22; John 14:26; Acts 1:4

Life in the Spirit

We are a charismatic community seeking the active presence, power, and ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. John 14; Acts 1:7–8; Gal. 5:13–26

Women in Ministry

We believe women are biblically affirmed to lead and serve in all levels of ministry when called by God. Galatians 3:28; Romans 16:1,7

Biblical Justice

We pursue reconciliation and justice through caring for the poor and marginalized while proclaiming the Gospel. James 1:27; Ephesians 2:14

Sexuality

We believe sexual intimacy is designed for marriage between one man and one woman. Sexual activity outside this covenant is sinful. Genesis 2:24; 1 Corinthians 6:18–20
